Follow these steps to effectively use the application and make the most out of its features:
1. Setting Up Your Truck Space
- Truck Dimensions: Begin by setting up the dimensions of your truck space. Enter the length, width, and height of your truck in the respective input fields. Click the Update Truck Space button to create or update the 3D representation of your truck.
2. Adding Cargo
- Cargo Type: Select the type of cargo you want to add from the dropdown menu. Options include predefined pallet sizes or a custom size. If you select "Custom," additional fields will appear to input the length, width, and height of your custom cargo.
- Cargo Color: Choose a color for your cargo to help differentiate between different types or shipments.
- Cargo Amount: Specify the number of cargo items you want to add.
- Add Cargo: Click the Add Cargo button to add the specified cargo to your truck space. The cargo will be placed within the truck space if there is available room.
3. Manipulating Cargo
- Selecting Cargo: Click on any cargo item in the 3D space or from the list on the right to select it.
- Editing Cargo: Once a cargo item is selected, you can:
- Rotate: Use the rotate buttons to change the orientation of the selected cargo.
- Edit Dimensions: Click the Edit button to modify the dimensions of the selected cargo. Enter the new dimensions and save.
- Copy Cargo: Click the Copy button to create a duplicate of the selected cargo.
- Delete Cargo: Click the Delete button to remove the selected cargo from the truck space.
4. Arranging Cargo
- Arrange with AI: Click the Arrange with AI button to automatically organize your cargo within the truck space. This feature ensures optimal space utilization.
5. Additional Features
- Snap to Grid: Enable the Snap to Grid option to align your cargo items neatly along a grid. You can adjust the grid size using the dropdown menu next to it.
- Arrow Indicator: The orange arrow in the 3D space indicates the front of the vehicle, helping you orient your cargo placement correctly.
- Closing Popups: All popups can be closed by clicking the "X" button in the top-right corner of the popup.
6. Handling Full Cargo Space
- If the truck space is full, a popup will appear asking if you want to place the cargo outside the truck space. Click Yes to add the cargo outside the truck space. Click No to cancel the operation.
Tips:
- Double-check the arrangement and dimensions of your cargo to ensure it fits perfectly within your truck space.
- Use the color-coding feature to distinguish between different cargo types or shipments.
